For his Christmas collection, Pierre Hermé offers us a magical and poetic ascent into a fascinating imaginary universe.
With the exploration of taste and emotions as his sole guide, he leads us into another dimension, that of his unique plant-inspired creations and the Fééries Célestes by artist Philippe Baudelocque.
With him, he imagines a phantasmagorical tale where the richness of the line of the drawings joins the precision of the infinitely chiselled tastes and the contrasts of textures of the creations of the “Picasso of pastry”. Their sensitivity brings them together, their freedom in creation unites them. Together, they invite us into a world of sensations, one through the architecture of taste, the other through the delicacy of the line creating sincere emotions, opening us to the infinite. Accustomed to black and white contrasts, Philippe Baudelocque chooses here a deep indigo blue offering a new perspective to the design and thus sharing his art on each of the collection’s boxes. He slips into his works the immensity of the universe, the infinitely large realized by juxtaposing the infinitely small.
